Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm back with you. This time I will discuss UX in terms of copy. In this article, I will improve the copy of Siklus application.

About App

Starting from when I was playing Instagram, there was a post that appeared with the name "Siklusrefill". Wow, to be honest, I was curious about what it was, so I opened its Instagram profile. It turns out that it is a startup that is developing in the GoGreen world, by inviting residents to reduce the use of plastic. If you look at their Instagram, they provide container exchange and refill services. I thought if it's like this, there must be an application, and I searched for it in the Play Store, yes, the application exists.

Coincidentally, I got a task from the Dibimbing.id bootcamp to do UX Copy Improvement, so I decided to improve the copy from the Siklus application.

Before I get into the discussion, I want to explain a little bit about the point of view and brand voice that the Siklus application has.

POINT OF VIEW

#AmbiLangkahmu Sekarang

The above phrase is the tagline owned by Siklus. You can see this tagline in various areas on the application or on their social media posts. From this tagline, we can conclude that they use a second-person point of view because they use the word "mu" in their tagline. And there is no doubt that they will also use a second-person point of view in the application. Siklus uses the second-person point of view to make the language style they convey in the application seem friendly and close to the user.

BRAND VOICE

After exploring the application, I concluded that the brand voice that Siklus has is Casual and Informative. This is not without reason, guys, there are reasons for this.
